Have you ever thought about joining the ranks of the competition barista but weren\u2019t sure if it was for you? How do I pick a coffee? What should my theme be? How much time and money will it cost to compete? Am I even going to enjoy it? If this is you, Counter Culture<\/a> is here to help. Tomorrow, November 1st at 1:00pm PST (4:00pm EST), all Counter Culture training centers in the United States will host Pro Tips: A Guide To Barista Competition and Brewers Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking place in 12 cities across the country\u2014Asheville, Atlanta, the Bay Area, Boston, Charleston, Chicago, Dallas (happening at The Common Desk in Deep Ellum<\/a>), Durham, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and Washington DC\u2014each Pro Tips event will feature \u201dlocal experts giving us the rundown on current competition structure, scoresheets, and the tips they’ve picked up over the years,\u201d per the Facebook event page.<\/p>\n

Participants will then be able to submit questions to \u201cformer champions and current judges from both competitions\u201d who will answer them over a livestreamed Q&A.<\/p>\n
